Apa maksud kata 'Junior Freelance' ini?

Tentu saja sangat simpel. Saya seorang freelance newbie. Yang bisa dikatakan dengan sebutan lainnnya 'junior'. Dalam artian masih dalam tahap pembelajaran, tahap yang belum senior lah pokoknya :)

Dalam perkembanganya, blog ini selalu masuk dalam 7 besar hasil query pencarian dalam Google, Yahoo! dan juga Bling. Tentu ini sebuah kebanggaan bagi saya yang masih harus belajar banyak ilmu tentang SEO.

Sedikit flashback *haiah*, blog ini menggunakan Engine favorit saya, yaitu Joomla. Kenapa memilih Joomla?

Yah, setiap orang punya alasan tersendiri. Kalau Anda seorang SEO senior atau sudah berpengalaman, tentu teramat jarang yang menggunakan OpenSource yang satu ini. Ketimbang Wordpress (WP), Joomla memang agak sedikit lemah dalam hal SEO (dalam pengamatan saya). Tetapi konfigurasi, kostumisasi dan manajemen keseluruhan system adalah kemenangan telak Joomla atas WP.

Okelah, disini saya tidak membahas kekurangan dan kelebihan antar kedua CMS ini.

Unik adalah segalanya dalam SEO?

Jawabnya tentu bisa dibilang Ya dan juga bisa dibilang Tidak. Keunikan (dalam pemilihan keyword, description) adalah sangat berpengaruh dalam lingkup perburuan SERP. Tapi tidak juga, toh sudah banyak web/blog baru yang mampu mengungguli keunikan sebuah website tertentu.

Optimasi khusus Joomla?

Kalau Anda sebagai kebetulan menggunakan CMS Joomla juga, kira² apa saja optimasi khusus untuk Joomla? Ndak ada, saya nggak banyak oprek. Mungkin yang sudah saya lakukan adalah menggunakan SH4SEF komponen. Yang merupakan extension favorit dalam merubah 'hukum baku' URL Joomla.
